DIY Slide Guitar - 2013

This is a slide guitar that I built for a final project in an acoustics class. It’s made out of a 2x4, L brackets, screws and a bolts, along with a harvested single coil pickup. I created a system of using the screws to the strings, where each string is wrapped around a screw and is tightened with the screw. I also used various markers to show the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th, and 12th frets. I generally keep the guitar tuned to a minor 7 chord, so I can play a minor triad on the bottom three strings, and a major triad on the top three strings.
